Smaller mallet, bigger price. Huh? That's because this mallet is not just a mallet - it's also a quick change artist! This is one of those very serious mallets where you can change the faces. Which means that there is no need to throw it away if the face gets too damaged to use anymore - just order a new bit and (with the aid of a vice) simply unscrew the kaput bit and screw in the new one! Result!
With a shaped hickory wood handle and a steel body for the head this mallet will take alot of use every year for years. It weighs in at a pleasing 1kg and Inga finds it easier to wield than the black deadblow which makes it her favourite weapon of choice when we're on site.
